Our Story

Shadow Falcon began with a conversation in a hotel lobby in Split. Marko Kovačić, our founder, overheard a British family discussing their frustration with a local mechanic who couldn't explain what was wrong with their rental car. The language barrier had turned a simple repair into a source of stress during what should have been a relaxing vacation.

That conversation revealed a gap in Croatia's automotive service landscape. While the country welcomed increasing numbers of international visitors, few service providers had adapted to meet their specific needs. Marko, who had spent years working at automotive facilities across Europe, recognized an opportunity to build something different.

In 2018, Shadow Falcon opened its doors with a clear mission: provide the same level of professional automotive care that international visitors would expect in their home countries. No language barriers. No unclear pricing. No uncertainty about service quality.

With 15 years of automotive experience across Germany, Austria, and Croatia, Marko brings both technical expertise and an international perspective to Shadow Falcon. He's certified in multiple European diagnostic systems and specializes in complex electrical issues.

Ivan Petrović

Senior Mechanic

Ivan spent eight years working at a Volkswagen dealership before joining Shadow Falcon. He handles most of our diagnostic work and has particular expertise with VAG group vehicles. His methodical approach to troubleshooting has solved countless complex problems.

Luka Babić

Mechanic & Parts Specialist

Luka manages our parts sourcing and inventory. His network of suppliers across Europe ensures we can locate quality components quickly, even for less common vehicle models. He also handles suspension and brake system work.
